🔱 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

READ FIRST: Kronos is a high-solids, professional-grade ceramic coating formulated for maximum durability, resistance, and protection. It is not designed for beginner installers or "easy wipe" systems. Heat, humidity, and surface type all impact flash time and install behavior. Always perform a test panel before full application.

🧼 STEP 1: Surface Prep

• Wash and decontaminate the vehicle thoroughly (The Furies Iron Remover, clay bar, etc.).

• Use Peleus Panel Prep to remove all polishing oils, waxes, and residues.

• Ensure the surface is cool to the touch and the environment is dry. Avoid direct sunlight or high humidity when possible.

💎 STEP 2: Apply Kronos

• Shake the bottle thoroughly.

• Use a Phoenix E.O.D. Microsuede Applicator Block (available on our website).

• Apply 5–10 drops of Kronos in a straight line across the applicator.

• Coat one panel at a time using a cross-hatch pattern (horizontal then vertical strokes).

⏳ STEP 3: Flash Time

• Flash time will vary depending on temperature and humidity.

• In warm or humid conditions, flash may begin in 30–45 seconds.

• In cooler or dry conditions, flash may take 60–90 seconds.

• Watch for hazing or rainbowing before leveling. Do not exceed 2 minutes without testing first.

🧽 STEP 4: Level the Coating

• Use a clean, dry microfiber towel to level the surface.

• Follow immediately with a second towel to ensure no residue or streaks remain.

• Pro Tip: If you feel resistance or see streaking, the coating may have overflashed. Reapply a few drops to the area to reactivate and re-level.

🔁 STEP 5: Layering (Optional)

• Kronos can be layered for increased depth and durability.

• Wait at least 1 hour between layers. Do not exceed 3 layers.

🕐 Curing & Protection

• Avoid water contact for 24 hours and ALWAYS  remove any standing water for a minimum of the first 48 hours.

• Full chemical resistance is achieved after 7 days.

• If early water exposure is possible, apply Titan SiO2 Hybrid Detailer as a sacrificial topper.

⚠️ Important Reminders

• Always test in a non-conspicuous area first—paint and clear coat behavior can vary by make/model.

• Heat and humidity greatly affect working time—adjust flash window accordingly.

• Store Kronos tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. Do not allow to freeze.

• Use gloves and ensure adequate ventilation during use.

Kronos Ceramic Coating 9H+, Provides a high level of chemical resistance that protects your car’s paint from major acidic contaminants like acid rain, bugs, bird droppings, and hard water.

*The pencil hardness scale only goes up to 9H, so anything more after that is just a bonus!

**Multiple factors can affect the lifespan of a coating. Application, daily driving, and climate conditions, all play a role in a ceramic coating’s longevity.

***Application and removal time will differ depending on ambient temperature, surface temperature, climate, humidity, etc. Test in an inconspicuous area to become familiar with Kronos’s reaction times.
